Karen E. Gunn-Bardot
Ms. Gunn-Bardot, Broker Manager for ERA Showcase Properties & Investments, has nearly 22 years experience as a property manager. She currently manages a staff of nine and more than 2100 properties throughout Brevard County, and she provides association management services. Ms. Gunn-Bardot attributes her success to managing a strong property management team, which includes a property inspector, a maintenance coordinator, leasing agents, and a bookkeeper. Ms Gunn-Bardot also specializes in revitalizing distressed properties. She provides a turnkey operation and coordinates all aspects of renovations. She has extensive experience with evictions and collections procedures. Ms. Gunn-Bardot has an excellent reputation of maintaining well-kept, high profit rental properties.
Chet A. Bar
Mr. Bar, Community Association Manager for ERA Showcase Properties & Investments. Mr. Bar has over 30 years experience in management and sales. He has developed his communications and people skills while developing expertise in computers and construction. He is a detail-oriented individual with the ability to take the initiative and multi-task various responsibilities. Mr. Bar has a 20 year career in the real estate profession, owned and operated several real estate firms while maintaining New Jersey and Florida broker licenses, a Community Association Manager license and a three year background as a Mortgage Broker. As a property manager for the past 10 years he has acquired extensive experience in leasing, rentals, rent rolls, budgets, management reports, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc., and supervision of sub-contractors in these areas.
Prior to real estate Mr. Bar spent 17 years in the computer industry with positions that ranged from regional manager covering approximately half of the United States, branch manager, salesman, systems analysts and programmer. Prior to computers he has a 10 year background in mechanical engineering and construction from artificial heart valves to 50 ton equipment.
